Hi! I'm Andrew, a front-end developer from Newcastle.
Below is a selection of projects I've worked on. You can get in touch with me by email, or on Twitter.
Team augmentation and software development.
Software engineer then technical design lead working on a high-profile section of the British Airways website.
SCORM compliant e-learning courses for organisations.
Responsive courses created using the in-house Waveform engine. Courses made use of interactive activities and scored assessments to present and test users' knowledge of key organisational policies. Clients included Diageo, Taylor Wimpey, and Thames Water.
Interactive e-learning courses for primary schools, secondary schools and adult learners.
Capita Learning Services
Capita learning and development division.
Worked closely with the back-end developer to ensure efficient integration of Umbraco CMS and Foundation framework.
As a result of reorganisation within the division, the Learning Services website is no longer available. An archived version, with some loss of functionality, can be seen via Internet Archive's Wayback Machine.
Rain or No Rain
Is it raining where you are? Of course there's a website for that. How else are you meant to know?
Uses the HTML5 Geolocation interface along with Forecast.io and Google Maps Geocoding APIs.
